Start making these strawberry tarts with puff pastry by rolling out a sheet of puff pastry and cutting it into squares. Press the squares into a muffin tray and prick them with a fork. Sprinkle some chocolate chunks into the bottom of each pastry cup. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Top with strawberry filling and bake for 10 minutes. Cool and sprinkle with the white chocolate chips. Enjoy!
To make my Easy Puff Pastry Strawberry Tarts, you will need the following ingredients:
Preheat the oven to 400 °F. Spray a muffin tray with cooking spray.
Unroll the pastry sheet and use a rolling pin to further roll it to ⅛-inch thickness. Use a sharp knife or a square cookie cutter to cut 2-2½-inch squares.
Press each square into a prepared muffin cup and use a fork to prick each square a few times.
Place a teaspoon of chocolate chunks on the bottom of each pastry cup.
Bake the tarts in the oven for 10 minutes.
Mix 1-1½ cups of sliced strawberries, 2 tablespoons of sugar and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice together in a small bowl
After 10 minutes remove the tarts from the oven and divide the strawberry filling equally between the pastry tarts. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes.
Remove the tarts from the oven and leave to cool.
Sprinkle with the white chocolate chips before serving.
