You need just two ingredients to make this Peach Sherbet. What is peach sherbet?
Sherbet is a frozen dessert made of fruit juice and sugar, and containing milk or gelatin. Unlike sorbet which is dairy free, sherbet has a creamier texture and taste.
I have chosen to use fresh ripe peaches in my recipe, however, you can change it up with any fruit of your choice!
To make Peach Sherbet, you will need the following ingredients:
Peel fresh peaches over a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and catch any juice with the paper.
Continue working over the parchment paper, slice the peaches and line them in a single layer. Freezer for about 4 hours until frozen.
In a blender, purée the frozen peaches and combine with milk until a smooth, soft serve consistency is formed. If needed, do it in batches for a smoother consistency.
Serve immediately or freeze in an airtight container for a harder consistency!
Summer just got better with this Peach Sherbet. A smooth and creamy frozen dessert that’s fresh and sweet and perfect poolside! Let us know how your smooth peach velvet tastes and tag #cookmerecipes in your own posts online.
