I don’t even need an excuse to make this Cheesy Chicken and Broccoli Orzo. This recipe is a guaranteed hit, especially with my kids who love the cheesy-chicken combination and one way to get them to eat their green broccoli, and not just consume, but love it too! This is a fail proof recipe that you can even leave for your babysitter to make, if you’re not home for dinner prep!
To make Cheesy Chicken and Broccoli Orzo, you will need the following ingredients:
Cook 1¼ cups of orzo pasta according to package instructions.
Heat 2 packages of broccoli and cheese sauce according to the package instructions.
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter and add 1½ pounds of chicken chunks, 1 medium chopped onion, ¾ teaspoon of salt and ½ teaspoon of pepper. Cook for about 6-8 minutes until chicken is cooked in the center and no longer pink and the onion is translucent.
Stir in the cooked orzo and heated broccoli with cheese and mix until well combined.
Serve hot and enjoy!

Swapped the meat out for pork instead of chicken because it's my second time making it, wonderful recipe.
Kids gobbled this orzo and chicken up ASAP! Even the broccoli just because it had some extra cheese on it LOL!
