Homemade Eggnog

Is there a more seasonal drink than eggnog? This Homemade Eggnog is a fantastic Christmas drink recipe to try this year. Serve your eggnog in beautiful glassware and you have a very instagrammable warm drink! This amazingly good eggnog is one of my favorite christmas drink recipes with alcohol and I’m sure it will become yours too.

This eggnog is very quick and simple to make too. Start by beating egg yolk and sugar together. Add milk, cream, bourbon, and nutmeg and stir to combine. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites. Once soft peaks form, add the remaining sugar and continue to whisk until stiff peaks form. Combine the egg whites with the eggnog mixture and chill until ready to serve.
