Lemon Yogurt Cake

Recipe Description

Celebrate the weekend with this delicious Lemon Yogurt Cake! Inspired by an iconic French recipe, aka gâteau au yaourt, this cake features zesty lemon flavor and tangy lemon glaze. Light and tender, this cake is bursting with bright lemon flavor. And if you are a fan of lemon desserts, you will love this cake too.

Ready in a little less than one hour and a half, this recipe is pretty easy to make. Just preheat the oven, mix the dry ingredients in a bowl, mix the wet ones in a different one, mix all of the ingredients and fold the vegetable oil into the batter. Pour the batter into a loaf pan and bake until a skewer inserted in the center of the loaf comes out clean. While the cake bakes, make the lemon syrup. Pour the lemon syrup over the cake while the cake is still warm and let it cool completely. Meanwhile, prepare the lemon glaze. Serve the cake drizzled with lemon glaze, slice, and enjoy!

To make the Lemon Yogurt Cake, you will need the following ingredients:
