I’m not a huge baker and this Peach Cobbler Snack Cake serves my requirements just perfectly. I love a simple cake recipe that feeds a bunch and is delicious and tasty too. Pack your cake with sliced peaches to really get the full effect.
This recipe makes a light, fresh and moist cake that works perfectly as a dessert, topped with double whipped fresh cream, it’s that easy!
To make Peach Cobbler Snack Cake, you will need the following ingredients:
Preheat oven to 350 °F and spray an 8x8x8-inch baking pan with nonstick spray.
In a small bowl, mix 3 teaspoons sugar and cornstarch together and toss the peaches in the mixture to coat evenly, all over, then set aside.
In a mixing bowl, sift together 1 cup sugar, flour, salt and baking powder.
In a separate bowl, with the butter and milk until combined.
Slowly pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until combined. Do not overmix your cake batter.
Pour batter into prepared baking pan. Place peaches on top, pressing some into the batter, firmly.
Bake in preheated oven for 60 minutes until a wooden toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Remove from oven and allow to cool completely. Enjoy!
