Peach Tart with Thyme Sugar

Recipe Description

This elegant Peach Tart with Thyme Sugar is a summer favorite! The recipe is easy and requires just 7 simple ingredients. A flaky homemade pie crust, fresh sweet peaches, and flavorful thyme sugar, all baked together to create the perfect summer tart. Finish off with fresh thyme sprigs and serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for a winning summer dessert.

This mouthwatering peach tart is beyond simple to throw together. All you need is a few pantry staples and fresh peaches. Start out by making the pie crust. I love to use my food processor to make the crust. It helps to make the crust at a moment’s notice. You can also make the crust ahead of time to cut down on prep time, as it needs to be chilled for at least one hour before baking. However, if you do not have the time, you can substitute your favorite store-bought crust. Prebake the tart shell and then arrange peach wedges over the bottom. Sprinkle the thyme sugar over, cover and bake until the peaches are baked through. Let cool and enjoy!
