Red, White and Blue, No-Bake Cheesecake Trifle

Recipe Description

This Red, White and Blue, No-Bake Cheesecake Trifle is a perfect treat to serve for a 4th of July party. Layered in small glasses as individual parfaits, these red, white and blue berry trifles make for a delicious and patriotic summer dessert. Not only do they look beautiful, but they also feed a crowd and are made in advance.

The recipe is quick and simple to throw together. To start, wash and pat dry the strawberries and blueberries. Hull and dice the strawberries. Crush the wafers in a ziplock bag. Use a stand or hand mixer to beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar, and then fold in the whipped topping. To assemble the trifles, add vanilla wafer crumble to a glass, pipe or spoon a layer of cheesecake, add diced strawberries, pipe more cheesecake, and finish with blueberries and a final rosette of cheesecake. Garnish with blueberries and strawberry slices. The recipe yields 14 servings.
