This Red, White and Blue, No-Bake Cheesecake Trifle is a perfect treat to serve for a 4th of July party. Layered in small glasses as individual parfaits, these red, white and blue berry trifles make for a delicious and patriotic summer dessert. Not only do they look beautiful, but they also feed a crowd and are made in advance.
The recipe is quick and simple to throw together. To start, wash and pat dry the strawberries and blueberries. Hull and dice the strawberries. Crush the wafers in a ziplock bag. Use a stand or hand mixer to beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar, and then fold in the whipped topping. To assemble the trifles, add vanilla wafer crumble to a glass, pipe or spoon a layer of cheesecake, add diced strawberries, pipe more cheesecake, and finish with blueberries and a final rosette of cheesecake. Garnish with blueberries and strawberry slices. The recipe yields 14 servings.
To make the Red, White and Blue, No-Bake Cheesecake Trifle, you will need the following ingredients:
In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat 1 pound cream cheese until smooth. Add 14 ounces powdered sugar, and beat to combine. Add 1 teaspoon lemon juice and beat until fully incorporated.
Gently fold in 12 ounces whipped topping.
Transfer the cream cheese filling into a piping bag.
Add ½ tablespoon of vanilla wafer crumble to each glass, pipe a layer of cheesecake, add diced strawberries, pipe more cheesecake, and finish with blueberries and a final rosette of cheesecake. Chill until ready to serve.
Garnish with blueberries and a strawberry slice.
