Recipe Description

This A-Number-1 Banana Cake is a delicious and quick recipe when the only cake will do! Not only is this banana cake recipe moist and delicious, but it is also very versatile as you can use the same batter to make both banana bread and muffins.

It is super simple to make this best banana cake too. Start by mixing together flour, baking soda, and salt. In a separate large bowl, beat butter with sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, before  mixing in bananas and the flour mixture alternately with the buttermilk to the creamed mixture. Finally, stir in chopped walnuts before transferring the batter to prepared pans. Bake in the oven. Remove once cooked and place on a damp tea towel to cool.
