Hello April Fool’s Day and hello Dirt Cake! This is a fun and funny recipe with instructions to make a cake displayed like a pot plant of dirty mud and it’s great!
Served in little flower pots a delicious concoction of cream cheese, vanilla pudding, chocolate sandwich cookies and frozen whipped topping. Don’t be fooled by the look because the taste is amazing!
To make Dirt Cake, you will need the following ingredients:
In a food processor, pulse 14.3 ounces of chocolate sandwich cookies until extremely fine.
In a large bowl, combine 2 cups of milk and 3.5 ounces of instant vanilla pudding. Cover and chill while preparing the cream cheese mixture.
In a mixing bowl, beat 8 ounces of cream cheese until fluffy.
Beat in 1 (12 ounce) container thawed whipped topping until evenly combined.
Add the combined cream cheese mixture to the vanilla pudding mixture and mix to combine.
Fill the flower pots by layering the ingredients beginning with the crushed cookies, follow with the cream mixture and top with crushed cookies. Chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
Decorate with fresh mint sprigs for the real effect. Enjoy!

J'ai fait ce gâteau de terre pour l'anniversaire de mon fils et c'était un grand succès. Les enfants ont adoré le goût, et même si ça avait l'air d'une plante, ils ont tout mangé. Une recette super amusante et simple à préparer !

Good dessert but the mint kinda ruins the taste, if you're like me and don't enjoy anything minty, I'd say cut out the plant part, good besides that.
I used this dessert as a prank on my mom, I started eating this at the dinner table and she could've SWORN I was eating soil, funniest thing I've ever done since the meatloaf cake, LOL! Thanks for sharing this "Dirt" dessert.
