Easy Creamy Shrimp Pasta
Drum roll please… with this Easy Shrimp Pasta, I’ve finally found a seafood dish that the whole family adores! That’s right – including the kids! The combination of juicy shrimp with a creamy, garlic sauce and forkfuls of pasta is a definite crowd-pleaser and I’m now getting regular requests for this from my little ones. Another bonus is that despite the easy method, this shrimp dish looks like something you might order in a fancy Italian restaurant!
Steps to make Easy Creamy Shrimp Pasta
1 | Cook the pasta | 11 |
2 | Cook the shrimp | 3 |
Once the pasta is on to cook, season the shrimp with the salt, pepper, and paprika. Heat the oil in a large skillet over a medium-high heat, before adding the shrimp and cooking for 2 minutes on each side. When ready (they should turn pink), quickly take them out of the pan so they don’t overcook.
3 | Start the sauce | 8 |
4 | Add the cheese and cream | 1 |
Pour the cream into the pan, bring the mixture to the boil and then lower the heat to a simmer for two minutes. Tip in the cheese and stir it until the sauce is smooth. Keep it at a simmer for just another minute or so while you check the seasoning - you can add more salt, pepper or paprika if you like - then take it off the heat.
5 | Combine and serve | 2 |

This is probably the best dishes I ever made so far, I would suggest to add a little less salt though since everything else is slightly salty on its own.
Affordable and easy to make happy with how the creamy pasta turned out.
Cooked the shrimp on medium heat first with some butter, delicious.
Loved every bite of this cant wait to share it thanks so much!
Decided to toss some sundried tomatoes in this and a bit more parmesan cheese it was very tasty.
I used chicken broth to replace the white wine instead and squeezed a bit of lemon on the top of the cooked shrimp.
Huge crowd pleaser my family ate every single bite of it in under 5 minutes and they still wanted more!!
Personally I think that olive oil is better than butter cause it makes the flavors stronger.
Really salty but delicious for sure would recommend it to those who love savoury dishes :)
Good but not as flavorful as the shrimp orzo.
The easiest way to impress. Super delicious and looks amazing!
Wow! Nice!
