1 Apples gala or fuji, diced
1 Pears diced
1 tbsp All-purpose flour
¼ tsp Cinnamon
For the Cupcakes:
1½ cups All-purpose flour
¼ tsp Salt
½ tsp Baking powder
¼ tsp Baking soda
¾ cup Sugar
2 tbsp Cream Cheese softened
¼ cup Butter softened
2 tbsp Milk
1 tsp Vanilla
½ tsp Almond extract
1 Eggs
½ cup Greek yogurt
¼ cup Heavy cream or milk
For the Topping:
4 tbsp All-purpose flour
4 tbsp Brown sugar
4 tbsp Butter at room temperature
½ tsp Cinnamon
For the Glaze:
1 cup Powdered sugar
1½ tbsp Milk
¼ tsp Almond extract
1 tbsp Cream Cheese at room temperature

Preheat oven and prepare baking tray

Preheat oven to 350 °F and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.

Combine dry ingredients

In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda, together to combine.

Combine wet ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk the sugar, cream cheese, butter, 2 tablespoons milk, vanilla and almond extract, together to combine.

Add egg

Add the egg and beat into the batter.

Add Greek yogurt

Add the Greek yogurt and stir to mix.

Combine dry and wet ingredients

Gradually add the dry ingredients, alternating with ¼ cup milk or heavy cream, just to combine, don’t over mix.

Prepare fruit slices

Toss the diced apple, pear slices, 1 tablespoon flour, and ¼ tsp cinnamon to coat.

Fold the apple and pear slices into the batter.

Portion batter

Portion batter into cupcake liners, ⅔ full from the top.

Prepare topping

In a bowl, combine flour, brown sugar and cinnamon together and mash in the softened butter or margarine into a soft crumble. Drop 1-2 teaspoons of crumble topping onto each cupcake.

Bake in preheated oven for 17-20 minutes until wooden toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow to cool completely.

Prepare frosting

In a small bowl, whisk the powdered sugar, milk, cream cheese and almond extract together. Drizzle glaze over each cupcake and allow to set.
