Fresh Strawberry Cake

This Fresh Strawberry Cake recipe is a simple cake that you can easily make as a chilled summer dessert. It is super simple to make and tastes amazing. My tip for decorating with runny jello is to make sure it is not blazing hot or it will melt the cream layer.

To make this Fresh Strawberry Cake, start by preparing a light cake batter. Cook in the oven and spread with strawberry jam. Allow the cake to cool completely before piling high with a creamy cream cheese topping! Chill in the refrigerator and top with sliced strawberries and a drizzle of jello. If you make this summer cake, I’m sure you’ll agree that it’s one of the best fresh strawberry cake recipes out there!

Baked some cupcakes out of this recipe instead of a full on cake to take to the office, huge crowd pleaser.

I used greek yoghurt in place of cream cheese for the cream layer and it tasted perfect! Definitely going to bake this baby again.

I'd put a lot less strawberry jam next time around overall pretty good tho.

Taste great but granulated sugar makes it too sweet brown is the way to go for this one bc strawberries have their own natural sweetness to them.

Arlene Dropp

Tweaked a few things and added some frozen berries also made my own vanilla icing instead of the strawberry jello cause i dont like the texture.

This looks so freaking delish i can't wait to make it, also awesome that its not a boxed cake recipe like most are.

Bananas add so much more flavor to the mix i'd slap some on there too.

Not for everyone as this is extremely sweet it's like putting a spoonful of sugar in your mouth.
