Sometimes the simplest recipes are the best and these Griddle Scones with Honey are no exception. They are very easy to make and if you check your cupboard, I bet you already have all the ingredients required on hand. I love to serve these griddled scones with butter and honey (a honeycomb if I have one), but they also taste amazing with jam if you prefer.

These scones are so easy to make. Start by mixing flour and cardamom with butter. Add sugar and beat an egg with milk in a jug. Pour in the eggy milk and bring the mixture together until you have a dough ball. Transfer to a floured work surface and knead until smooth. Divide the dough into three equal pieces. Roll each piece into a circle about â…›-inch thick. Cut each into quarters and cook them on a hot griddle pan for a couple of minutes on each side!

Amazingly tasty honey griddle scones, couldn't ask for a better dessert than this.

These are great scones for sure but I feel like it needs a little bit more sweetness for example, the apple churro had a lot more flavor for something that is just fried dough.

Best dessert for when youre trying to go to a picnic or just to munch on at work.

Husband loves these though we actually make them kinda salty by tossing in some ham and cheese to the inside, its like mini pizza rolls but grilled cheese flavor.

Will be trying these out today with some jam on the top instead of honey.

One of my favorite recipes out there because you can add anything you want to the mix and it will still turn out good!
