Orange Date Bread

This Orange Date Bread gives me the opportunity to bake with one of my favorite dried fruits: dates! I absolutely adore dates. Sweet and sticky and moist, they are increasingly used as a natural sugar substitute in cakes and sweet treats. Soaking dried dates in liquid can help to boost their moisture and flavor. If you like an added crunch, you could add some pecan nuts or walnuts to the batter before baking.

This orange date bread recipe is so easy to make too. Start by heating orange juice in a saucepan. Remove from the heat once the juice simmers and stir in dates. Leave to rest until cool. Meanwhile, add the dry ingredients to a mixing bowl. Once cool, add beaten eggs to the orange and date mixture and combine with the dry ingredients. Bake in the oven and enjoy while still warm!

Fun recipe! Subbed the sugar for more dates, which I soaked in water and blended into a paste. Fun fact - dates are actually not dried fruit.

I cut down on the dates because I wasn't too sure if it would end up being to sweet so instead of 8 i put 5.

Accidently went with unsalted butter because Im dumb and forgot to read the thing but luckily there wasnt much difference in taste so dont worry if you make the same mistake as i did.

Kataleya Kuhlers

Scrumptious orange date bread even better than the vegan banana one and that's a hard one to top in my opinion since it has so much flavor.

Akira Sarcona

Wasn't too sure about this at first but now that it's baking in the oven I can already smell how good it's going to taste.
