I served these Parmesan Cheddar Basil Bites at my daughter’s birthday and everybody, child and adult alike, loved them. A delicious pairing of two cheeses with a subtle taste of fresh basil through makes this one of my favorite snack foods.

Preheat oven and prepare baking sheet

Preheat oven to 350 °F and line a baking sheet with baking parchment paper.

Combine cheese mixture

In a food processor, blend cheddar cheese, butter, half-and-half, and salt at medium speed until just blended.

Gradually add flour, Parmesan cheese, and basil and continue blending until well combined.

Roll out dough onto a well floured surface and divide into 3 equal portions, flattened into â…›-inch thick pieces. Use a cookie cutter to shape out stars and arrange them 1-inch apart on the prepared baking sheet.
