These Quick Apple Pies are really tasty and super quick to assemble. You can whip up and cook a batch of these apple turnovers in under 30 minutes making them a perfect midweek treat. I like to serve mine with a dollop of vanilla ice cream.

To make these, start by slicing some apples. Roll out some puff pastry dough on a lightly floured surface. Cut the pastry sheet into 9 equal pieces and place a few slices of apple and a spoonful of sugar into the center of each piece. Fold the dough over the top and brush with beaten egg and sprinkle each one with a pinch of sugar. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes and that’s it! Tasty apple pies in under 30 minutes.
