6 Eggs separated and then brought to room temperature
1 tsp Vanilla extract
1 cup Sour cream
3 cups All-purpose flour
¼ tsp Baking soda
¼ tsp Salt
For the Optional Vanilla Glaze:
2 tbsp Butter softened
1 cup Powdered sugar
1 tsp Vanilla
1-2 tbsp Milk or hot water

In a separate bowl, sift and whisk flour, baking soda and salt until combined.

Prepare vanilla glaze

In a small mixing bowl, using an electric mixer, beat the butter and powdered sugar together. Add vanilla extract and milk and whisk until combined into a thin icing.

Drizzle glaze over cake before slicing to serve!
