This Stuffed Italian Bread is a simple, yet stylish dish to add to any menu. You can serve it at your next barbecue, or as an accompaniment to your Italian pasta night, with a bowl of soup, or to perfectly partner any salad for lunch! You can even serve it as is, with a cheese plate and wine. There is not one meal that this Stuffed Italian Bread does not compliment.

Steps to make Stuffed Italian Bread

Preheat oven

Preheat oven to 350 °F.

Make the garlic butter spread

In a bowl, mix together the melted butter, parsley, olive oil, and garlic.

Slice the bread

Slice the bread diagonally without cutting all the way through; do the same on the opposite diagonal to create cube-shaped sections, still attached to the bottom crust of the loaf.

Spread the garlic butter inside

Using a spoon, carefully butter the mixture in between each section.

Add the cheese

Stuff the shredded Italian cheese in between each section.

Wrap

Wrap the loaf in aluminum foil.

Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Unwrap and bake for another 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
