Made with cake slices that look like slices of toast, buttered and toasted in a skillet until golden and crispy and topped with spoonfuls of vanilla yogurt resembling egg whites and canned apricot halves for the sunny-side yolk.

To make Sunny-Side-Up Dessert, you will need the following ingredients:

Steps to make Sunny-Side-Up Dessert

Butter cake slices

Spread 1 tablespoon of butter, evenly, over both sides of the 4 cake slices.

Toast

Toast the buttered pound cakes in a skillet over medium-high heat for about 15-30 seconds until golden brown.

Prepare dessert

Transfer toasted cake slices to serving plates and spread spoonfuls of vanilla yogurt over the top. Place an apricot half in the center of the yogurt to look like a sunny-side-up fried egg.

Serve

Serve immediately and enjoy!
