To make The Perfect Yeast Pastry Dough, you will need the following ingredients:
In a mixing bowl, stir 1½ tablespoons of yeast, 2 cups of warm milk and 1 tablespoon of sugar until combined. Set aside for about 10 minutes until activated.
Once activated, add 3 eggs, 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise, 1 teaspoon of salt and remaining sugar to the bowl and mix until well combined.
Using an electric mixer, gradually add 6 cups of flour, cup by cup and continuously mix until all the flour is completely combined into the mixture.
Finally, pour in 3 tablespoons of oil and fold in to combine.
Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until elastic in texture.
Set dough aside for about 1 hour to rise.
Once risen, use the dough for other baking recipes and enjoy!
