Vegan Falafel Burgers
Vegan Falafel Burgers are one of my favorite healthy burger recipes. I love falafel – bursting with flavor and goodness. Falafel is a really common form of street food which is eaten throughout the Middle East. The chickpea and herb mixture is fried until crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
It couldn’t be easier to make this recipe for falafel burgers. Start by draining and drying a can of chickpeas. Mix all the remaining falafel ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth. Shape the mixture into 4 patties. Fry until crispy on the outside and smooth on the inside. Serve in toasted pitta breads with tomato salsa and green salad. Enjoy!

Blown away by this recipe, affordable, simple, vegan AND lactose free!
Going to try this out today wish me luck people!
If you want to make this slightly spicy toss in red chili flakes and a dash of hot sauce :)
First time making falafel burgers and my first impression was messy but flavorful, without dairy and actual meat the flavors blend well together and are actually stronger too.
In love with this dish though I did have to add a bit more spices like salt, garlic powder and black pepper so it wouldn't be too bland for my hubby.
One of my favorite lacotose free falafel burgers, never tasted anything better than this thanks for sharing.
Kids tried this out and thought it was real meat! luckily they didnt care when I told them it wasnt because it was still "just too good".
Veggie in a falafel is my favorite thing lol.
Was slightly expensive to buy the pitta bread so just made my own from this website too, more affordable and still tasty!
Stunning meal the bright colors are very inviting and the taste was exquisite.
How can I prevent mine from constantly falling a part...?
Not a huge fan of all the greens in this, I think I'll stick to the falafel waffle.
Well done! Approved!
