Recipe Description

This Veggie Sausage Strata is a delicious filling and wholesome recipe that the whole family will love. It is super easy to make and great when you have a busy day planned. You will need to make this in advance and refrigerate overnight. Make sure you remove the dish from the refrigerator 30 minutes before baking.

To make this yummy casserole, start by cooking sausage, green peppers, and onion in a large skillet until the sausage meat is no longer pink. Drain excess fat. Whisk eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and mustard in a large bowl and stir in the sausage mixture, bread, spinach, cheeses, and zucchini. Transfer the casserole mixture to a baking dish. Cover and place in the refrigerator overnight. Cover and bake until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
