- 400 g can Chickpeasdrained
- Zest of 1 Lemonplus juice ½
- 1 tsp Cuminground
- small bunch of Corianderchopped
- 1 Eggs
- 100 g fresh Bread crumbs
- 1 medium Red onion½ diced, ½ sliced
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
To serve:
- 4 small whole grain Hamburger buns
- 1 large Tomatoessliced
- ½ Cucumbersliced
- Hot chili sauceto taste
Chickpea & Coriander Burgers
Chickpea and Coriander Burgers are one of my favorite veggie burgers. I love chickpeas as a meat free alternative – they are packed with protein and fiber which makes them filling as well as healthy.
It couldn’t be easier to make these veggie burgers. Start by mixing all of the ingredients together in a food processor until the mixture comes together. Shape the mixture into 4 burgers and chill in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes. Fry on medium heat for about 4 minutes on each side. Serve in a bun with tomato, cucumber, red onion and chili sauce. Enjoy!
