Add vegetable shortening immediately and stir until shortening combined.
Add puffed rice and almonds or hazelnuts and stir to mix through evenly.
Pour chocolate mixture into a 5x7-inch rectangular mold. Silicone works best.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 6 hours to set.
Once set, turn out onto a plate and slice into ¼-inch thick pieces
