Beat butter, confectioners' sugar and salt together in a large bowl until fully incorporated.
Mix in the vanilla and beat in the flour gradually.
Stir in the chopped dried cranberries.
Bring dough together and form a disk shape. Wrap the dough in plastic and chill for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
Preheat the oven to 325 °F, line with a lightly greased parchment paper some cookie sheets.
Roll the dough to ¼ inch thickness on a floured surface.
