To make Almond Milk, you will need the following ingredients:
Drain the water out and put the almonds into a blender. Add 5 cups filtered water, a pinch of salt and any optional addings of choice.
Blend for 1-2 minutes, then pour it through a muslin cloth or nut milk bag into a big bowl.
Squeeze the bag to get all the liquid out. Reserve the pulp for another use.
Heat the oven to 200 °F. Spread pulp onto a parchment-lined baking sheet in an even layer. Bake for 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes for the first 1½ hours, then every 15 minutes until pulp is dry but not toasted. Leave to cool completely. Then blend in a high-speed blender or food processor until a fine almond meal is achieved. Store in a jar or container for up to 1 month.
Taste the milk and optionally add some water to thin it. Serve and enjoy!
