Steps to make Best Pigs in a Blanket Pull-Apart Bread

1

Preheat oven

5

Preheat the oven to 400 °F and line a 9x5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper, covering the sides with about 2 inches of excess paper and then lightly grease with cooking spray.

2

Prepare dough

3

Roll out 1 tube of pizza dough onto a lightly floured surface and cut into 28, 1x2-inch rectangles.

3

Add filling

5

Brush over the dough rectangles with some barbecue sauce and place a cocktail weiner on top of each one. Wrap the dough to fold over the wiener and pinch the sides to seal. Repeat with the remaining 28 rectangles.

4

Bake

30

Transfer the “pigs in a blanket” to the prepared baking pan, standing upwards and bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes.

5

Add cheese

5

Top with sprinkles from ¾ cups of mozzarella cheese and return to the oven to bake for another 5 minutes until the cheese has melted.

Guadalupe Thermitus

Not too sure why but my dough was hard as stone once i pulled it out of the oven i let it cool for 10 minutes and i could no longer bite into it properly.

Meredith Caretti

DELCIIOUS! Yummy in my tummy snack for any day of the week (-;

Demi Bujanda

Turned out bland and not too simple to make either the dough burned on the top but was soggy underneath.

Lainey Masangcay

Aj bbq sauce is the best for this honestly.

Martha Bootsma

Good recipe will try making more things from here from now on.

Kadence Meher

Made this pigs in a blanket lunch with my kids who tried to draw little smileys on the weiners with some ketchup lol.

If you have trypophobia (like myself) and hate the way this looks but knows how it taste and want to make it, do what i do and just cute the weiners into a small enough size to fit the pan or whatever you are using, place them ontop of a layer of dough then place another layer of dough on top of them, you can just cut it afterwards into squares and dont have to freak out by the way this looks! :)

I put ketchup instead of bbq sauce and sprinkled some parmesan cheese over the top.

Cooked this and had pumpkin bread with icecream for dessert.

I used pastry dough for crossiants instead of pizza, makes it way fluffier and a lot more cute too.

Ruth saved me an entire day of cooking with this meal lol, thanks so much dude.

Briar Dibitetto

Slightly expensive only because of the mozzarella which is like 5 bucks where i live, but its a big lunch or dinner so i approve!

Angelique Lien

DONT ADD THE PARSLEY IF YOU HAVE KIDS!!! They will NOT eat it unless you have little angels! which most parents do not lmao.

Paityn Jennewein
