Puff Pastry Apple Tartlets

Recipe Description

These Puff Pastry Apple Tartlets are so simple to make and I think they look very professional. My secret to great puff pastry? Buy it in the store!!! I have never had much success when making puff pastry from scratch, so I have no problem buying frozen sheets and thawing them when I need them.

To make these tartlets, start by cutting squares from pastry sheets. As the pastry squares blind bake in the oven, prepare the apple filling and sugar-cinnamon butter. Fill each pastry with applesauce, sliced apple and brush with melted sugar-cinnamon butter. Glaze the pastry and bake until golden and puffed up. Leave to cool before sprinkling with icing sugar. Enjoy!
