This Homemade Applesauce can be made with only 4 simple ingredients and 3 easy steps and is absolutely the best I have had yet. It’s healthy, delicious, and easy to customize to your whims.

Adjust the amount of sugar and cinnamon to suit your taste. Feel free to use maple syrup or honey if you prefer. Are you a chunky or purée kind of person? For a chunky sauce, mash the cooked apples with a potato masher. For a smooth sauce, purée the apples with an immersion blender. The best apples for applesauce include Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, Gala, Golden Delicious, McIntosh, Jonagold, or Fujis. You can use any variety of apples you like or even a mixture. Serve this delicious applesauce as a snack or dessert, or add it to your favorite recipes like cakes, cookies, pancakes, and more. Use it to top potato latkes or cooked pork chops. Just give it a try!
