Squash Blossom Focaccia
This Squash Blossom Focaccia is inspired by my travels in Italy. Prior to my Italian adventure, I thought the only way to cook squash blossoms was to stuff them with cheese and fry them but I was pleasantly surprised when I tasted a focaccia bread with squash blossoms on top.
This recipe is so simple to make. I use store bought dough which cuts the prep time considerably. Start by pressing and stretching the dough into a baking pan. If the dough springs back, leave it to rest for about 10 minutes and stretch again. Bake for 8 minutes before topping with ricotta cheese, Parmesan and squash blossoms. Return to the oven and bake for 10 more minutes.
To make Squash Blossom Focaccia , you will need the following ingredients:

Too hard to make for beginners mine was undercooked inside and on the top was slightly burnt I have no idea what I'm doing here honestly.
Ricotta cheese is kinda expensive where I live so instead I used parmesan and feta.
Focaccia has been a favorite of mine each time I traveled to Italy and thanks to you guys now I can officially bring it home.

Perfect bready texture loved the taste so much and the flavors were unique too, never had anything like this before.
Pizza dough is good for this but the puffy pastry makes it fluffy and it taste sooo yummy too.
Added a bit more salt than what's written and also used cayene pepper to spice it up a bit.
Tasted amazing and was simple to make too.

Doubled the ingridents to make two batches of this for dinner and everyone really enjoyed it, both were completely gone by the end of the night and didn't take long for the family to come running up to me with pencils and paper to ask for the ingridents haha.
