Steps to make Taco Stuffed Bread

Preheat oven

Preheat the oven to 350 °F.

Prepare bread

Carefully slice off the top of the French loaf and remove some of the middle, creating a well in the center of the piece.

Cook beef

In a large skillet, cook 1 pound of ground beef until no longer pink, then drain excess grease.

Sprinkle 1 package of taco seasoning over the cooked beef and mix well to combine.

Add cheese

Add ½ cup of shredded Cheddar cheese and mix until melted through. Remove from heat.

Fill loaf

Fill the mixture into the French loaf and top with sprinkles from the remaining 1½ cups of Cheddar cheese.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes until the cheese has melted. Remove from the oven.

Add toppings

Add any of the toppings of your choice such as sprinkles of green onions, olives, tomatoes and cilantro leaves, if you wish.

Slice into 2-inch pieces and serve hot! Enjoy!
