½ tbsp-1 tbsp Maple syrup
¼ tsp Sea salt

Vegan Matcha Chia Pudding


Although this Vegan Matcha Chia Pudding recipe makes just 1 pudding, you can easily adapt the quantities to have 1 big, green, vegan matcha chia pudding party for all your friends! Made from chia seeds, matcha green tea powder, almond milk, maple syrup and a pinch of sea salt, set overnight in the fridge for a perfect pudding-like texture.

Steps to make Vegan Matcha Chia Pudding


Combine ingredients


In a mixing bowl whisk 3 tablespoons of chia seeds, 1 teaspoon of matcha green tea powder, 1 cup of almond milk, ½ tablespoon of maple syrup and ¼ teaspoons of sea salt until completely combined.




Set aside for 5 minutes to rest.


Whisk again


Whisk again until everything is mixed through and there are no clumps.


Test taste


Taste and adjust flavors to your preference.




Cover and refrigerate for 4 hours to overnight to set.



Add any sliced fruit or garnish toppings of your choice and serve!

I followed the recipe to the T however I found that it wasn't as sweet as I wanted it to be so I suggest adding a bit of brown sugar.
