Cook zucchini

In a large skillet over medium heat, spread a layer of zucchini slices with sprinkles of garlic on top. Do not overlap, cook in batches. Cook for about 8 minutes until golden brown on both sides. Remove from heat and set aside.

Prepare gratin

In a 9x12-inch glass gratin dish, layer slices of zucchini and a layer of mozzarella cheese with tomato over the top. Repeat creating neat rows of zucchini and mozzarella cheese with tomato.
