As the name suggests, you will only need five ingredients to make this 5-Ingredient Peach Tart! It is a great way to use up peaches in the summer. It tastes delicious served with vanilla ice cream and it takes under 30 minutes from start to finish.

To make this recipe, start by tossing peaches and lemon juice together in a bowl. Arrange peach slices on a rolled out sheet of puff pastry so that they are overlapping in three rows inside a border on the pastry. Brush the edges of the tart with egg wash before baking until golden and puffed up. Leave the tart to cool slightly before dusting it with confectioners’ sugar.

Steps to make 5-Ingredient Peach Tart

Heat oven and prepare baking sheet

Preheat the oven to 425 °F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Mix peaches with lemon juice

Toss 3 large chopped peaches together in a small bowl with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice.

Prepare pastry sheet

Unroll the puff pastry onto the prepared baking sheet. With a sharp knife, lightly score a border 1 inch from the edges of the dough, but take care not to cut right through the pastry. Use a fork to prick the pastry all over.

Place peaches on the pastry

Arrange the sliced peaches so that they are in three rows inside the border and slightly overlapping each other.

Brush with egg wash

Whisk together one egg with 2 teaspoons of water to make an egg wash. Brush the edges of the tart with the egg wash.

Bake the tart in the oven for 15-17 minutes until the pastry is golden brown and puffy.

Cool and dust with sugar

Once cooked, take the tart from the oven and let it cool slightly. Dust it with confectioners' sugar.
