Make a pitcher of this refreshing Brazilian Lemonade to stay hydrated on a hot day. It has the perfect balance of sweet, tangy and creamy and uses whole limes for maximum flavor. This easy beverage is made with only 4 ingredients and comes together in a blender with just 5 short pulses!
Start with the limes. Be sure to use the freshest limes available. Wash the limes thoroughly. Cut off the ends, then slice them into eight wedges. Toss everything into a blender – the lime wedges, water, sugar, sweetened condensed milk, and ice – then pulse a few times. You don’t need to worry about the chunks of lime pulp and rinds, as you will be straining the drink, so everything will be caught and removed. Don’t be tempted to blend for more than 10 seconds, otherwise the drink will taste bitter. Finally, pour the lemonade through a fine-mesh strainer into a pitcher. Serve over ice. Perfect for summer drinking al fresco.
