This Easy Fried Cabbage is the perfect dish to add to your Sunday roast menu. The perfect partner to delicious roast beef and potatoes with hot gravy and a variety of other vegetable dishes.

A plate of crispy, fried cabbage with bacon bits and finely chopped onions, spiced up with a little paprika! There really is nothing too complicated about this awesome recipe.

Steps to make Easy Fried Cabbage

Cook bacon

In a non-stick pan over medium heat, cook 5-6 bacon strips, cut into small pieces until crispy. Once cooked, remove with a slotted spoon and set aside.

Cook onions

In the same skillet, using the leftover bacon drippings, cook ½ cup of finely chopped onions until translucent.

Add cabbage and seasoning

Add ½ head of shredded cabbage, ¼ teaspoon paprika and salt and pepper to taste. Cook for about 7 minutes until cabbage is softened with a little crunch.

Return bacon

Return the crispy bacon bits to the pan and stir everything together.

Serve

Serve warm and enjoy!
