With just 3 ingredients, this Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream is one of my easiest recipes ever! So simple in fact that it makes heading down to the store for a tub of ice cream on a Saturday night seem like a full-blown operation – just walk over to your freezer instead!

With this combination of cream and condensed milk, you don’t need to churn the ice cream, just pop it straight into a container and freeze until its firm enough to scoop.

Creamy, sweet and flavored with yummy vanilla, this is a delicious basic ice cream recipe. Once you’ve tried it, I’d recommend having a go at adding some of your favorite flavors – mint extract and chocolate chips for example, or caramel chunks – to make it extra special!

Steps to make Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream

Combine the milk and vanilla

Add the condensed milk and vanilla to a bowl and stir together.

Add the cream

Gently stir in the whipping cream.

Freeze the ice cream

Pour the mixture into a large freezer-safe container and freeze until solid (around 6 hours).

Keep the ice cream leftovers in the freezer after serving.

My easy Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream takes a matter of minutes to prepare before popping it into the freezer and returning when it’s ready to be scooped!
