Homemade Whipped Cream
This Homemade Whipped Cream is one of those basic recipes that everyone should know how to whip up (get it!). All you need is 3 simple ingredients and my secret tip, which is to place the bowl and the whisks in the freezer for a minimum of 30 minutes before you start whipping.
To make this, take a large bowl from the freezer. Whip 1 cup of heavy cream until stiff peaks are just about to form. Add vanilla and sugar and continue to whip until peaks form. Make sure not to over-beat, or the cream will then become lumpy and butter-like. There is a fine line so keep watching as you whip.
