Meatball Mummies

Recipe Description

Meatball Mummies first made an appearance in my Halloween kitchen 3 years ago and they haven’t left since. They are pretty grotesque looking (as Halloween treats should be, right?) yet they taste delicious! The kids love them and they are super easy to make.

I use frozen meatballs, puff pastry dough, tinned sliced olives and marinara sauce for this recipe. I simply wrap each meatball with strops of dough. I stick olive slices to each ball using marinara sauce. These become the mummy’s eyes. Then I bake them in the oven and serve them warm with marinara sauce!
