    Boil 2 pounds of peeled potatoes in a pot of salted water. Then, drain and chop into cubes.

    In a mixing bowl, add 2 pounds of cooked and cubed potatoes, 2 chopped apples, 5 oz of chopped pickles and 1 chopped onion.

    In a small mixing bowl, whisk ⅔ cup of mayonnaise with 1 cup of cream cheese and season with salt and pepper until well combined. Add to the salad, and toss to coat and combine well.

    Transfer the dressed potato salad to a springform cake pan and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, to chill.

    Decorate the cake with 8 hot dogs, cut into circular slices and remaining 5 oz of pickle slices, arranged around the top of the cake and place a slice of tomato in the center.
