Real Welsh Rarebit

I once dated someone from Wales. While I rarely think about her now, I often make this Real Welsh Rarebit that she taught me! Welsh rarebit sounds really exotic, but in reality, it is just grilled cheese with a few extra ingredients including beer! Do you like the sound of this recipe? If the answer is yes, keep reading!

Cook flour, salt, pepper, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and Tabasco sauce with melted butter. Add milk and beer and bring to a boil before incorporating Cheddar cheese in small portions until fully melted. Serve this cheesy sauce over toasted bread or English muffins.
