In this Sheet Pan Hoisin Chicken recipe, you can learn to make homemade authentic Chinese chicken in 1 pan and in less than 40 minutes.
A great dinner for the family to enjoy too. A hearty dish made with chicken chunks, potatoes, carrots, broccoli, bell peppers and cauliflower to fill the gap and simmered in a homemade hoisin sauce. This sweet and sour favorite is best served with white basmati rice.
To make Sheet Pan Hoisin Chicken, you will need the following ingredients:
Preheat oven to 400 °F and grease a large nonstick baking pan with oil or line with baking parchment paper or aluminum foil.
In a mixing bowl, mix soya sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, sesame oil, ginger, garlic and cornstarch until combined. Set aside to use later.
Spread out the chicken and potatoes in a single layer on the base of the prepared pan. Generously season everything with salt, black pepper and drizzles of olive oil and toss to coat well.
Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes.
Turn chicken and add carrots, broccoli, bell peppers and cauliflower to the pan.
Drizzle with more olive oil and prepared sauce. Toss to coat evenly.
Bake for another 15-20 minutes until chicken is cooked to your preferred doneness.
Drizzle remaining sauce and garnish with sprinkles of sesame seeds, before serving, if you wish!
