Sourdough Focaccia with Floral Art
This Sourdough Focaccia with Floral Art recipe is another great way to use up your sourdough discard. If you are anything like me, you abhor the idea of wasting food and that’s why sourdough discard recipes are vital at the moment!
Start by mixing the ingredients for the dough together. Leave the dough to proof. Proofing the dough will take around 6 – 8 hours depending on the temperature of your room and the strength of your starter. Once the dough has doubled in size, place it in a baking pan. Leave to rise again before dimpling the surface and decorating with garlic, herbs and vegetables. Bake and enjoy!

My daughter and I had so much fun decorating this together, i used a bit of food coloring though so she could get the pretty pink flowers she wanted into the dough.
Ultra flavorful and unique looking.
Vegan and Italian are the two words I love to see in every recipe I cook.
Everything on top of my dough just tasted burnt and not good at all I don't understand what happened ?
Nicely done recipe I was always just tossing out whatever sourdough I had left not knowing what to do with it and this saved my butt because people will eat literally anything in my house if it looks good haha.
