Strawberry Pop Tarts
These Homemade Strawberry Pop-Tarts are really tasty and your kids will adore them! I often get my kids together in the kitchen to make batches of these pop-tarts. I make the strawberry filling for these tarts by combining strawberry jam, cornstarch and water.
To make the tarts, start by preparing some dough. Roll into a pastry sheet and divide it into 9 equal pieces. Place some strawberry filling in the center of each piece. Place another piece of dough over the top and brush with beaten egg and milk. Gather any remaining scraps of dough and repeat the process to create more tarts. I was able to make 4 additional pop-tarts with the remaining dough. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes and that’s it!

Homemade pop tarts are the way to go! Loved everything about this strawberry poptart even drizzled a bit of chocolate syrup on the top.
If you are too lazy to make the dough from scratch like me then you can just used frozen puffy pastry or pie crust :) thank me later.
Topped with some vanilla icecream while hot and it melted, the taste was phenominal and reminded me of a strawberry pie.
AWESOME!! used rasberry jam cause strawberry is too sweet for me and tossed in some chocolate chips which melted perfectly.
So tasty..add some sprinkles and vanilla icing to the top if you want it to taste like the storebought ones.
Used pre-bought dough and only had to cook it for 20 minutes, cuts down the time by a LOT.
The jam exploded and the tarts came out empty..
A little bit of vanilla extract and cinnamon can go a long way in this.
Made this for my kids to take to school really happy with it and so are they! this saves us a bunch of money from purchasing already made poptarts with far too much sugar in it than a kid should have in a day.
I thought poptarts were harder to make than this but guess not and now im saving bucks by making them at home lmao.
Fig jam is legit the best way to go for this and some icing with pea milk mmm mm!!!
I used bluberry jam for the filling instead of strawberry and made some icing but replaced the water for lemon juice so that the sweetness of the icing wouldnt be overbearing.
Huge hit with the family they devoured all the tarts hot and drank liliac shandy.
They are kinda chewy but still a light treat to munch on.
Gonna be trying to make an apple cinnamon tart the second time around <3 strawberry is good but not as sweet as i wanted it to be,
I came here after trying the kuchen bars which are a lot more flavorful if you want something extra sweet but these are good too.
Eating them hot is the way to go its legit the perfect breakfast
Lovely little snack to munch on thanks a lot.
