Packed with a Spanish punch of light-bodied wine, apple cider and brandy and exotic autumn fruits such as honey-crisp apples, green pears, orange slices and ruby-red pomegranate seeds. Spice it all up with some earthy-brown cinnamon sticks to get your tongue tingling!
To make Autumn Harvest Fall Sangria, you will need the following ingredients:
In a saucepan, over high heat, bring water and sugar to a boil and cook until the sugar dissolves and the liquid just starts to thicken.
Transfer syrup to a heat proof container, add the cinnamon sticks, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, to chill.
In a large pitcher, stir the wine, apple cider, brandy, prepared cinnamon syrup, apples, pears, oranges, pomegranate seeds and cinnamon sticks, to mix.
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours to overnight.
Serve chilled.
