These Dark Chocolate Walnut Pomegranate Clusters are a total match made in heaven of little love bites. There aren’t any better ingredients to add to this recipe with bitterness from the creamy dark chocolate, sweetness from the pomegranate seeds and rich, crunchy and chunky flavors and textures from the walnuts. The perfect little treat to end off a wonderful dinner. Note there are two methods to prepare this recipe as we have explained in step 2 or step 3.
To make Dark Chocolate Walnut Pomegranate Clusters, you will need the following ingredients:
In a double boiler, or on the stove over a saucepan of boiling water, or in the microwave, melt the 8 ounces of chocolate.
In a mixing bowl, mix and combine 8 ounces melted chocolate, ¾ cup walnut pieces and ¾ cup pomegranate seeds. Then place 28 spoonful clusters of the chocolate mix with 1- or 2-inch spaces in between onto a baking sheet lined with baking parchment paper. You may need 2 baking sheets.
If using mini-muffin tray, line with paper liners and place a little teaspoon amount of melted chocolate on the bottom. Sprinkle a few walnuts and some pomegranate seeds and then top with drizzles of more melted chocolate. Finally, sprinkle a second layer of walnuts and pomegranate seeds and finish off with melted chocolate drizzled over.
Refrigerate for a few hours to firm up and harden.
