To make Cloverleaf Herb Dinner Rolls, you will need the following ingredients:
In a large bowl, mix yeast in ½ cup warm water until dissolved.
Add oil, honey, salt, seasonings, egg, whole-wheat flour and remaining water and mix well until smooth. Add enough flour until dough is soft.
Roll out onto a lightly floured surface and knead dough for about 6-8 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Lightly grease a large bowl and place the kneaded dough. Over and set aside in a warm place for about 1 hour to rise.
Punch down dough to remove excess air and transfer to a lightly floured surface. Divide dough into 6 portions and then each portion into 24 pieces, rolled into small 1-inch balls.
Lightly grease 2 muffin trays and place 3 balls in each muffin cup.
Cover and set aside again for 20-25 minutes to rise until doubled in size.
Bake in a preheated oven at 375 °F for 12-15 minutes until golden brown on top.
Remove from muffin trays and cool to serve warm.
