This Homemade Pumpkin Puree recipe is an all time classic. The best thing about making your own pumpkin puree? It doesn’t contain any hidden ingredients or preservatives. This means that you can be assured that when you use it, you are getting the real deal!

Cut a pumpkin in half and remove the seeds and stringy bits. Roast the pumpkin halves until the skin blisters and the flesh is very soft. Once cool, place the pumpkin flesh in a food processor and puree until smooth. Strain the puree over a bowl for 2-3 hours, before transferring to the freezer.
