I cannot think of a more refreshing summer drink than my Homemade Raspberry Peach Lemonade. I am so excited to share this recipe with you today as the sun shines down on my garden outside. I love to prepare a pitcher of this lemonade on a hot day and I know you will too!
To make this lemonade couldn’t be simpler either. Start by pureeing raspberries and peaches with water. Push the puree through a sieve to remove skins and seeds. In a small saucepan, heat sugar and water until you have a syrup. Assemble the lemonade by placing water, lemon juice, and ice in a pitcher. Add the syrup and puree. Stir well to combine and serve the lemonade chilled with peach, raspberry and mint garnishes. Yum!
To make this version of Homemade Raspberry Peach Lemonade, you will need the following ingredients:
Place 4 diced peaches, 1 cup of fresh raspberries and 1¼ cups of water in a blender. Process until you have a smooth puree.
Pour the peach and raspberry puree into a sieve over a large mixing bowl. Push the puree through the sieve. Discard any seeds or skin that stay in the sieve.
Add ½ a cup of granulated sugar and ½ a cup of water to a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat until the sugar dissolves. Continue to boil for around 3 minutes until the liquid becomes syrupy. Set to one side to cool slightly.
Fill a glass pitcher with ice cubes, 7 cups of water, and 1¼ cup of lemon juice. Stir to combine.
Pour in the peach and raspberry puree and add the sugar syrup. Stir again to combine fully.
Serve chilled and garnished with raspberries, peach slices and mint sprigs.
